CREATIVE CONCEPT

We created a set of key visuals for In Time Of's community programme – Good Date Village. 

The design reflects the annual theme of the project, “Repair”–a theme that expands beyond just material fixes to include the environment, wellness, relationships and more. It hopes to bring together community-driven individuals to explore, learn and study ways to cultivate a more sustainable lifestyle to enrich local culture and build resilience in everyday life.

ABOUT GOOD DATE VILLAGE

Good Date Village (約好村莊) fosters a close-knit community where like-minded people can come together to learn, create and support each other. Through workshops, exhibitions, community walks and other creative efforts, each village celebrates its unique culture, style and sense of togetherness shaped by its villagers and environment. 

FINDING YOUR HAPPINESS

The mini-initiative “Happy Mend Shop” invites the public to celebrate the small moments of joy in daily life by creatively capturing their ‘short-term happiness’. This could be something as simple as enjoying a refreshing breeze, watching a good movie, or sharing silly conversations with friends.

Located at Nan Fung Place in Sheung Wan, Happy Mend Shop encourages visitors to pick up a “Happy Shuffle Card” and dive into a fun, relaxed gaming session with friends and the local community.  Participants can also craft and draw their own short-term happiness on cards, as well as vote for their favourite happiness elements on the “Happiness Chart”.
