On Friday, 20 September, there was a special one night only cocktail event hosted by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, Brussels. It featured a fashion presentation and dance performance in collaboration with Pierre Larauza and Emmauelle Vincent of t.r.a.n.s.i.t.s.c.a.pe. This contemporary dance performance reinforces the spirit of cross-border cultural and ideas exchange.

Stemming from a flagship programme organised by HKAOD, a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting and promoting design talent, the Hong Kong Designer’s Exchange is an exhibition of cross-disciplinary works created by emerging artists and designers from Hong Kong and a partner country of the Business of Design Week (BODW) in Hong Kong.

HONG KONG BRUSSELS DESIGN SEPTEMBER 2013

ta’ ta’ ta’ is an exhibition curated by Hong Kong Designers.

The Hong Kong Ambassadors of Design (HKAoD) is proud to showcase the works of some Hong Kong’s best design talent at Design September 2013. In developing their works, the designers attempt to breach the boundaries of gender stereotypes by creating a collection that will redefine the closets and lifestyles of today’s society.

This capsule collection combines bold thoughts, fluid lines, explosive colours, a mix and merge of textures and shapes, visual arts and design. From hats to accessories, clothing to books and multimedia design, this exhibition specially created for ta’ ta’ ta’ promises to intrigue and fascinate her, him and all.
