Visualising Youth-led Sustainability: Graphic Design for a Citywide Eco Initiative
We were invited to create the key visual and event poster for the “Inter-school Trash-Picking Competition”, a community education programme promoting sustainability, youth creativity and environmental awareness. Our design established the campaign’s visual identity and communicated its eco-conscious mission to a wider audience.
Co-organised by Nan Fung Group and Good Date Institute, the initiative engaged 12 local schools and over 200 eco-conscious students in Hong Kong to rethink waste and design innovative tools to support cleaning workers. Over six months, students took part in hands-on design workshops, repurposing discarded materials from their school campuses into alternative cleaning tools. These prototypes showcased how design thinking can drive sustainable solutions.
The final works were presented in an eco-creative exhibition held on the streets of Sham Shui Po in May. The public event highlighted the students’ creativity and their collective vision for a greener future.
