PROJECT STATEMENT

‘My Little Companion’ is a mini art object and bud vase that depicts two individuals with nearly opposite traits who, nonetheless, form a perfect, harmonious pair and always stay together. The handcrafted creation represents a delightful collaboration between natural elements and human craftsmanship.

Made of hand-built clay and natural stone, each pair is thoughtfully matched and unique like every one of us with our partners. Though small in stature,  these art objects express a poetic sense of connection and care, their forms gracefully intertwined. 

Every curve and contour is carefully sculpted to convey the depth of emotion and understanding shared between the two elements. The contrasting textures of the materials, combined with light and shadow, create an interplay of brightness and darkness that symbolises the highs and lows of the companionship journey.
